The versatile nature of the Cornish Rocker means it can be built to many different requirements, some of which have been illustrated below.
Each site is different and locations vary from sheltered areas to windy cliffs. Frames have been built to work with a number of suppliers, ready to put on their Panels and Inverters.
These Single Height Cornish Rockers are anchored to wooden sleepers on stone. The picture shows the difference between Summer and Winter positions. These single height Rockers are now very popular and can be 1.6 meters from the ground at 55 degrees.
Here the customer was short of space and only wanted them one panel high so he used 325 watt panels.
Here the customer was concerned that the horses may get close so a protection bar was put all the way around the outside of the panels.

This was a challenge! This array was mounted on a slope of 15%, This can be seen clearly in the photo above. The Cornish Rocker moves from summer to winter positions with no problem despite the slope.
This double Landscape configuration for the Cornish Rocker is now the most popular. In the winter position it is just under 2 meters high.
The panels were kept low here so that they could not be seen from the bungalow next to it. The array was lowered slightly into the ground, a slight slope was left to allow for drainage.
We had an archaeological problem here but the planners were happy to for us to put the Cornish Rockers on Concrete plinths. This has now been done on 3 sites.

This picture shows that sheep can quite happily graze or shelter under the panels for the Spring, Summer and Autumn - Winter the panels are too low to the ground.

The farmer here asked if his young cattle could graze under the panels in the summer months. So I put a protection bar at the bottom and on the side of the outside Cornish Rockers.
He puts sheep underneath the arrays during the spring and autumn.
